Who We Are
The Belonging Resident Playback Company is a first-of-its kind ensemble of actors, musicians, and expert facilitators utilizing a somatic approach to applied theater, improvisational performance, and radical empathy to dismantle systems of oppression. Centering BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ performers, our ensemble uses playback theater and diversity/ equity/ inclusion/ belonging frameworks to facilitate deep listening and transformative change. Our work has been described as healing, restorative, and transformative for diverse audiences.
